The Canadian Homeopathic Conference previously scheduled for April 2020 has now been changed to November 6, 7 & 8, 2020. The venue and location will be confirmed shortly. The conference is brought to you this year by the following Canadian Homeopathic Association members:
Ontario Homeopathic Medical Association (OHMA)
BC Association of Homeopaths (BCAH)
Syndicat Professionnel des Homéopathes du Québec (SPHQ)
Manitoba Homeopathic Association (MHA)
The Canadian Homeopathic Conference Directors are invested in bringing you an exciting 2020 conference in Ontario.
In 2021 and on, the conference will be held in the month of April to coincide with Homeopathy Month and Samuel Hahnemann Birthday (April 10, 1755). So expect future conferences around this time each year.
Changes to the original conference dates were implemented due the following reasons:
- Our professional responsibility to our celebrity guests, exhibitors and staff, international speakers, participants and working staff. Risk management and implications financially. For example, we could lose international speakers, celebrity guests and participants due to restrictions on all sorts of resources including the hotel, travel restrictions and fear.
- Considerations for the decision: COVID-19 is predicted to reach its peak by the beginning of April, 2020 in Canada. COVID-19 is predicted to be active and highly transmittable during the time of our conference. The economic impact predictions could last until the end of 2020.
- Most major business conferences and high attendance events are being cancelled.
- Restrictions being placed on corporate travel and interaction.
