Faisal Girach
BIO
Faisal Girach is a registered Homeopath in Ontario with over 18 years of experience in homeopathic clinical practice, education, research, and academic leadership. He earned his Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Doctor of Medicine in Homeopathy (MD Hom) in India, completed postgraduate qualifications in Teaching, Higher Education, and Psychology in Malaysia, and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) in Canada. Throughout his career, Faisal has been committed to advancing evidence-informed, patient-centred homeopathic care while mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Prior to moving to Canada, he served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia, where he was actively involved in teaching, curriculum development, research, and student mentorship. He also served as a Subject Matter Expert for the Ministry of Health Malaysia, contributing to academic and professional initiatives in homeopathic education, and was a Lecturer at Dr. M. L. Dhawale Memorial Homoeopathic Institute, one of India’s premier institutions for homeopathic education.
In Canada, he is a Part-Time Professor at Confederation College and OSHKI-WENJACK Education Institute, where he teaches courses in health sciences, psychology, communication, healthcare management, and business. Alongside his academic roles, he maintains a busy and active homeopathic practice in Thunder Bay, Ontario, providing individualized holistic care to patients of all ages. He is particularly passionate about improving access to natural healthcare for Indigenous communities, combining education, community outreach, and homeopathic practice to promote culturally respectful, holistic healing.
As a Board Member of the Ontario Homeopathic Medical Association (OHMA), Faisal is dedicated to strengthening the homeopathic profession through advocacy, education, collaboration, and the promotion of excellence in clinical practice, professional standards, and public awareness.
